Wow, way to be helpful.

Anyway the cheapest I've heard of is a seller on eBay selling em for 54.99 plus $10 shipping. Japan something-er-other, I don't remember the name exactly.

Alternatively Play-Asia sells em for $59.99 plus $6.70 shipping.

I got my ceramic white for $60 from Frank & Sons (it's kinda like a swap meet but nothing but toys, anime, and video games and the like out here in So Cal).

Black is usually $5-10 cheaper.

i ordered my 2 dualshock 3s from 2 different places, Play-asia which took forever to get to me, and japanvideogames.com (or something likethat) which got to me in 2 days, and japan was cheaper. i went with one of their ebay listings instead of their sites, i think its cheaper on the ebay listing.

Play-Asia:

Dual Shock 3 (Ceramic White) - $59.90

Dual Shock 3 (Black) - $59.90

When checking out, use coupon codes:

* RE-XMA-SAA for $5 off orders over $50.
* RE-XMA-SAB for $10 off orders over $100.

Cheapest/slowest shipping starts at around $6.70.

Still waiting on my Dual Shock 3 frmm play-asia, sounds like i should get my second one from japanvideogames.

I am very excited to be receiving this, my other two controllers had wall impact issues associated with repeated Ninja Gaiden Sigma deaths.

Anybody know how much these things are going to be when they finally get released here in the states? I've been on both sides of the fence when it comes to importing a couple, but I don't need rumble so bad that I need to pay a premium for it just to get it a little bit in advance.

Do you know exactly when this thing is being released over here? I need a new controller due to one of mine drifting and I am trying to figure out if I should just wait or what

I have no clue. The only "solid" release date I can find is "Spring." Both of my controllers drift a bit, too, but I only notice it on Unreal and have learned to compensate for it. Not a huge deal. I would just like to play through Uncharted and Folklore with rumble, but am not in a position where I need to spend more than what it will cost when it finally gets here domestically.

Does COD support rumble?

Should have known that'd be your next question, you addict!! I honestly have no idea, though. Perhaps someone with a DS3 can chime in on that one.

No way... I am only like 2.5 days on this game... there are dudes out there with like 15 days!! But it is a damn good game and about the only thing I will put in these days... unlike you who I am convinced in playing in the back of a Gamestop with all the games I see you play!!

Sixaxis's are $50 right? I'm gonna guess when the DS3's hit the market they'll be $50 and they'll knock $10 or so off the Sixaxis's to clear out the old stock.

LOL. It has been a while since I popped in COD4 but now that the holidays are over and life is back to normal, I'll be on more regularly again. I have had an influx of great new stuff to play though. Assassin's Creed (played without the HUD) is great and I'm really digging Folklore as well. Couple those with UT3, COD4 and my FIFA 08 addiction and I've got plenty to keep me busy for a while.

As for sitting in the back of a Gamestop, I don't set foot in the establishment. The two I have here are run by idiots and I have vowed to never set foot in one again, for better or worse.

I'm guessing around $60-$65 since the regular SIXAXIS is still going for $50. When they were first released and going for $80, I thought that was too much but now that they've come down to $65, I'm ready to get them.

damn thats a big let down.

I just played it on my buddies 360, and once I got use to the controls I really like the rumble when playing the game.

One question that I have not seen asked. Can the Dualshock fit into a sixaxis controller? I ordered a red one from colorware and would be really nice if I could have a red dualshock
I wouldnt see why not, but just want to be sure

A thank you!

I'm well aware of Frank & Sons but I never thought to look there for a DS3 controller. Great tip.
