FWIW, I pulled my A2 out of the cabinet and the skipping has virtually gone away. It's played about 4 or 5 songs and only one skip early on. So maybe it's a heat issue?
ALL audio and video outputs work simultaneously on the A2.
I also have a PS3. I've done some comparisons on CDs and I prefer the sound of the A2 better. I also don't like that I have to have the TV on to play CDs. I can see the track number and time and such on the A2 display, unlike the PS3.
Using the A2, I hit "music" on my Harmony remote and my A2 and receiver comes on only.
