Hey! I was wondering if anyone on here could help me, my husband, girlfriend and I have all been going nuts trying to figure this out. Its 2 Sony 10's hooked into two Fidek's with their own built in amplifiers, and the Fideks are on a splitter hooked into the PRE-OUT female jack for SUBWOOFER. The settings have all been screwed with multiple times, The Line levels are up, the speaker levels are working...when we did the auto setup, it showed all of the speakers working except the sub-woofer, and it told us that there were two warnings. Warning one said PHASE, mentioning the missing sub. The Second Warning said Extra.....PRNS, which I believe is referring to the extra speakers that we do not have. The amplifier is for 7.1 setup but we are on a 5.1.....can anyone help me? Anyone have a suggestion? Christ, what a way to spend my 21st birthday. LOL

I need some further explanation....

2 Sony 10's? into two Fidek's with their own built in amplifiers?

Generally you are going into a power sub, the sub's built in amp has an audio input or two, a volume control and other various features.

But, I digress....

With powered subs? You generally can just unplug the RCA from the AVR and touch the tip and hear lots of low end hum. This usually indicates the sub and cable(s) are OK.

The sub and cables are fine, we have used a test speaker to see if they were working. you can feel the vibrations on the front of the sub, but I hear nothing. Crossover is at 90 Hz, the sub level is at 8 out of 10, and i have no idea what else to do. heeelp..lol

There are 2 subwoofer outputs on the 6060. Try the other output directly to one of your powered subs.
