I hope so, because the Triluminos and ACE technologies described in the write-up sound great, and I hope they will be included in the 37” XBR6 or the 40” Z model, both of which I have my eye on.
Thanks for any insights.
bcooper: In the review by AVSRichard it says LCD/XBR 08 Series. So one of the models would/should be the bigger XBR6's. Not sure if Triluminos will be in the Z-series please see 'DasRaven' 's post on the next page (page 9, post #241). I have a FEELING though that the only LED/Tri models will be in the bigger sizes, 40 in and above.
EDIT: According to this paragraph (from the very first post of this thread)
"With an elegant slim bezel, the full HD 1080p 40-inch KDL-40Z4100 and 46-inch KDL-46Z4100 models (all measured diagonally) feature the new BRAVIA Engine™ 2, Motionflow 120Hz high frame rate technology, x.v.Color, WCG-CCFL backlight with ACE (Advanced Contrast Enhancer circuitry) and 10-bit processing with a 10-bit panel. Both models are also DMeX and DMP compatible, while offering the USB digital music and photo player."
The Z-series will be WCG-CCFL backlight. Don't know about the backlighting in the other models. The XBR HAS to be Triluminos : ) .
Everyone please ready my "messy" post carefully so you don't get yourself to a high then come crashing down.
