Here is my Rock Bar. Nothing special compared to most here, but...

These pics are when I just completed it. I don't have updated pics, but it is now furnished with bar stools, wall art, glassware, and my most favorite addition, a wall mounted bottle opener with a cap catcher. I find my self drinking a brew just to use it.

That's awesome. I really like that. Maybe if one of my sons manages to put their feet through my cherry veneer wrap on the bar base I'll do a rock bar like you did. Gorgeous!

Very nice! The layout and the finish details are quite similar to the design I am working on for my bar area, though I am trying to incorporate some stained-glass panels as well for a bit of a British pub feel. Hopefully mine will turn out as nice as yours.

Any more bar pics? Trying to get ideas for mine at the moment. Looking to do an L shaped bar with a rear shelf.

Here are pics of my (stalled) bar project.

Those are from when I finished the first phase. I still need to build the back bar and add shelves.

we have a 21x13.5 room that we have designated as a bar, just wondering if it is worth it to have a walk behind bar? Is it functionally worth it or is it just a coolness factor, I really like the idea of a walk behind but they take a lot of space and when we have guests I always wonder how much time either my wife or I would spend behind it.

thanks for any advice.

I decided against a typical bar that faces a wall for my basement. Going with a bar in the kitchenette area that will face into the room towards TV wall (pool table area someday). You can see my plan here. For me it'll be more functional, it hides a pole and will work much better.
