I'm designing a theater that will have 2 rows of seating. The back row will be up on a platform behind the first row. The room is rectangular shaped and 17x10. I was thinking of where we were going to put the subwoofer. One option I came up with is designing a subwoofer enclosure to be integrated underneath the platform. I was thinking possibly 2 12" subs, one at each end of it facing the front of the room. Anyone try this before or have any plans? Anyone have an opinion on this setup?
At the front of the room we're putting in some kind of cabinet to go below the screen so it could be integrated into that as well. I like the idea of it under the platform better though. I know the people in the front row would have quite an earful with the subs facing them but how would it be for the people sitting on the platform?
