How do you know if a BB store is a franchise store?

Also, the unlimited in store rentals for $19.95 a month -- how many can you have rented out at a time? Is there a limit and do they give you the 1 week grace period with that?

I believe the $19.95 plan is limited to one out at a time. The higher plan will allow you two out at a time. They should also have the same grace period

Depends on what plan you have. I have the "old" $19.95 plan which is 3 out at a time, unlimited store exchanges. If you search the internet for BB coupons it may be possible to still sign up with this plan for $19.95 which is now $30+. I signed up this past December and found a coupon that let me get the old rate.

So far BB hasn't increased my rates in 7 months and I literally watch one movie a day, seven days a week.

Thanks for that info. Not sure if its worth it for me though. If its only 1 out at a time, it will be hard keeping up since the movies are always rented out.

Just ask. I believe their is a sign that says this store owned by..... At the front of the store.

night watch was good, and I was hoping fox atomic would release day watch on bluray last year..it was on the calendar but never showed up. Now it's showing up on blu-ray.com...

I do have to say that Day Watch was a turd though..

Has anybody seen Cloverfield BD at their local Blockbuster? Or Bee Movie? I've been trying to get both Cloverfield and Bee Movie, but they aren't at the local store, or available online. Not sure why they don't have these two extremely high profile titles.

Personally I think CloverField is one of the worst possible movies ever. A complete waste of time, no story line, and the camera shaking nearly made me barf. I'd invest your time in a movie that's actually worthwhile.

Well, I've never seen it, and I've heard the audio is pretty spectacular. I spent a huge amount of $$$ on my audio setup, with a 7.1 system, and tons of acoustical treatments and such, so anytime I hear of a certain movie being a real audio stand out, I wanna check it out. Supposedly, alot of people consider it demo material from an audio standpoint.

The first 12 minutes or so are useless but when the monster shows up, here comes the LFE.

Hello all,

I have been a fan of both HD-DVD & Blu-ray for 12 months now.
I ordered my first HD-DVD player in June of 2007 and immediately started to fill my Queue with HD-DVD movie titles. One title I waited for 1 year to see.

Evan Almighty [HD] finally shipped this week almost exactly one year latter! I have had this positioned #1 in the Queue several times and sent four e-mails to BB to complain. At least I rec'd 4 free movies over the last year.

Is this a record waiting time for a single title?

God, I hope I like this title!

He definitely has me beat. I waited four months for Rush Hour 3 on Blu.

Drillbit Taylor still does not have a Blu-ray option and its due out in a couple weeks. :/

I just picked it up from the B&M this morning, with my instore exchange

I had the potential for 2 movies to ship yesterday and 10k was one that didn't move. Now it too says very long wait, but since I picked it up @ store, I deleted off my queue!

So I picked it up in-store exchange today.

Me too! My store had four copies on the shelf.

Mine shipped on Monday and I got it yesterday.

Does anyone know if Blockbuster is getting Dtillbit Taylor in Blu-ray? There is clearly a release for it, but no Blu-ray option is showing up under BB.
