I know how you feel. I've gone back and forth on WB titles over the past two weeks. Since I've settled on getting the most enjoyment out of my foray into HD DVD, I settled on purchasing what I want when I see it as a value to me.

The studios don't really care one way or the other about disc sales of catalog titles right now, since I'm sure little of it is currently profitable. The lower sales go, the more WB will feel justified in their decision if they notice at all. Also, since catalogs have sold so poorly, we may not see all of the currently released HD DVD titles for many years on another HD format.

Yes, there are about 300 out of 400 movies to choose from. Plus, I live in PA and they are based in New York so I saved paying tax as well. They also shipped it fedex ground which do it to me the next day. Free shipping too. $149 with 9 movies total including the 5 rebate and free shipping. the last time I looked you can also opt out of the 2 free extra dvds from them and get it for $129

I agree with ya.

It might be a good idea to buy the Warner exclusives that sold very poorly as it might be many years for them to ever come out on any other type of physical media.

Because it's just an Amazon front store that someone is running to make some money. Those places are explicitly disqualified from this listing as the rules have been explained to me. You can find the exact same items on Amazon itself.

It did at my BB just picked up the A35 and 2 free movies only reason didn't go with Robert at VE was had a $20 reward zone I needed to you this week.Other wise it would have been Robert its hard to find people that treat their customers so well these days.

Here's a simplified URL for the Amazon page with that current Warner deal:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId=1000189601

Whenever you see a docId= part in an Amazon URL, you can often simplify the whole thing to what I just presented above, and replace with the appropriate docId.

Affiliate links are not allowed in this forum because they can be abused and become a form of spam. You can recognize when someone's trying to sneak one in (or is innocently being passed along) when there's any kind of tag= in the URL. The best way to share URLs from Amazon or any other store for the purposes of the AVS forum, is to get it from the store itself and not from the referring site. In other words, cut and paste the URL only after your browser is clearly at the store itself. If you right-click to "copy shortcut" or "copy link location" from the page at the site where you learned about a deal, then you're most likely going to get a version of the URL that includes affiliate sales information.

Don't worry that you're not giving credit where it's due to the referring sites, especially on these Amazon sales. You can actually find all of these sales at Amazon yourself by just visiting Amazon's HD DVD areas, they don't keep any of this a secret. In many cases, some of those sites got their information from AVS forum or another forum or site in the first place.

Then BB should match it by letting you pick 2 free movies don't think they will let you use the 12 percent off coupon on an already purchase but never know. For the movies just take the receipt with you.

All of the prices you're seeing are from Amazon's "marketplace" vendors, which is sort of like Amazon's eBay. The items will ship separately from each of these sellers just as if you'd bought it via eBay.

What I think people are objecting to is that you could also find the same stuff yourself by visiting an eBay or Amazon directly.

Yeah... I saw this... do you suppose this means $10 off the two or $10 off each? If it's each I'm there, but it's not clear.

Enjoy!

It appears it's only for $30 titles so two movies for $50 isn't a bargain to me.

Ordered my first imports from UK amazon. The Island is going to kick butt. Buy 2 and get 1 free right now.
With reference to the attached image, I would like to inform you that a week ago I had placed an order containing the mentioned titles. The system computed the estimated shipping date as Feb-20-2008. I canceled the order today and re-ordered with the same items and now the estimated shipping date is calculated as 29-Jan-2008. If anyone of you face similar issues try to check the stock availability of the titles and place an re-order.

64 GBP for 5 titles including the expensive Fearless,Pan's Labyrinth and CE3K is not a bad deal.

Keep in mind 1 GBP = 2 USD, so you're paying about $40+ a movie and shipping if you live in the USA.

Was going to order, but using a translator it says you need a code from a can of Pringles to get the discount. Went all the way to the end of the checkout and no such discount was applied.

Actually, they aren't. They take Ebay auctions and Used deals on Amazon and sell them to you. When you tack on shipping for every single item that you buy, it adds up pretty quickly.

Also, any amazon storefronts are Explicitly forbidden from the deals list as this list isn't to promote a user's store front for profit but to help HD DVD owners find great deals.

My total for 3 movies shipped was 34 pounds so I assumed 68. Not bad considering I get to watch The Island now.

The code has been deleted from the website, because Amazon didn't want the code to be public.

Actually, you have to buy a can of Pringles to get the code, but the website published the code which they removed severeal hours ago.
