Yeah, that came up for me, and I unchecked it. I paid with Paypal, it's up to them prove they got them to me.

Just placed an order for Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, End of Days, Jarhead, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It came out to $42.90 shipped. I can totally live with that. This will probably be my last HD-DVD purchase unless I see something even cheaper come along.

Anyone ordered from The Hut, the UK site? They have some pretty cheap movies on there that I would want, but unsure about reliability and shipping costs to the US.
I went ahead and paid the insurance price. Mainly because I've never ordered from them before. I'm not interested in taking chances on my order.
I couldn't resist picking up 18 titles from inetvideo. I was waiting for their prices to drop. They are movies I wanted to watch, but were blind buys so at $8.15 each I had to pick them up.

Went to Hollywood video, I got King of California, We Are Marshall, Blades of Glory, and Evan Almighty (last of the non R rated movies they had) for $32 total they were on sale for 3 for $25 and they gave me the fourth for the same cost like 8.33

11 Titles now show up as OUT OF STOCK if you go to iNetVideo through the .com link.

However, these same titles do not appear to show up as out of stock at the .ca site??

Either their real time inventory tracking is out of whack or they have inventory in two separate locations. Which could make sense as Canadian orders are apparently shipped from Montreal and US ones are handled from NY.

But who knows?
Unless Inetvideo has a VERY VERY Good inventory control/accuracy system, I have a feeling many of use are going to be getting cancellation notices, or having our shipments shorted.
It should be an interesting next week. I guess I can't do anything but cross my fingers.

So, I ordered 12 HD DVDs from here: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/inetvideocom/. Are you saying this is the US site (.com) and they will ship the discs from the US and I will have to pay GST, PST, duties, service fees, etc.? This would be pretty bad news.
Inetvideo is also selling on Amazon Marketplace as well. I ordered 3 movies, plus shipping, a couple days ago for a few dollars each under Amazon directs prices. You have to do the math of the price +shipping to make sure a particular disk is a good deal when compared to the Amazon direct price with the free shipping option over $25.

I ordered:
The Sting
Elizabeth: The Golden Age (combo)
American Gangster (combo)

That will be interesting to see what happens. If they ship from the Canadian warehouse then you got a great deal (ie. less for shipping and no GST)!

Its now up to 19 titles sold out, a few are still available at their E-Bay store.

Yes.. Just went to have another look a few hours after my post early this morning.

Another interesting observation... I just noticed that the 19 titles that show as OUT OF STOCK through the .com link appear to show up at the END OF THE LIST through the .ca site (altough they dont say that they are out of stock.

I have noticed that the position of titles seems to vary in the .ca list, meaning they seem to move from page to page as time goes by. I wonder, if its that the titles that show up towards the end of the list (ie. pages 10 to 12) are the titles that are in very short and/or decreasing numbers????

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Update at 8 pm: Looks like 26 titles NOW SOLD OUT including the HEROES Box Set.
Just ordered 5 titles at 6 bucks a piece, and the total shipping with insurance was $15.

So basically it comes down to 9 dollars per title.

But that is still a helluva deal, so no complaints.

I put in my order on Friday with iNET and I received "order completed" confirmation and getting a processed confirmation. I'm assuming that means it shipped - so hopefully there won't be many cancellations.

I love how everyone is like this hddvd deal is good especially when you purchase alot of them i was going to place an order 3 days ago for 200.00 worth but then shipping was over 80.00 come on I got a PSU from newegg shipped NEXT DAY this week and it was cheaper shipping lol. I will wait to buy the ones I want.
I just placed a order from inetvideo.ca for 12 titles and the total was 105 which makes it about 8.75 per title which is still a great deal so we will see how it goes. I hope shipping isn't super slow

So approximately $ 8.50 each shipped is not a good enough deal to you?

I guess there are always some that have to find fault with virtually everything.

You realize that a "picker" has to manually go around and get those 33 odd titles you selected one at a time right? and that they ARE A BUSINESS right?

34 titles are now sold out. At this rate half should be gone by the end of today.

So as long as the ones you want are Pride & Prejudice and Elizabeth the Golden Age, I guess you will be laughing. But not likely.

Yes...you should get two separate emails...

ORDER PROCESSED means the order has been entered on their system and that your payment info has been verified.

ORDER COMPLETED means that it has been packed and shipped.

I ordered 30 at $9.00 each including shipping and G.S.T. This is the best price, by far, I've seen for any HD discs and few "used" DVDs can match these prices. I'm now spoiled. I won't be buying any BD titles at anywhere close to retail. These prices make the entire industry look like a joke. "You can fool some of the people some of the time..."

If these were sustainable prices I'd agree. But these are "death of a format" prices. This blow-out is very likely a loss for someone and not a viable business model.

I'm bummed. There were only 4 titles I'm interested in and don't already have. But I sure ordered them!

I am happy as a piggy in poop today.

I received big orders! My Equilibrium and The Island arrived from Tony at xploitedcinema.com (yeah!),

and I RECEIVED MY 17 TITLE INETVIDEO ORDER!!

The whole order is packed in large bubblewrap pack, but its packed VERY TIGHTLY and everyting arrived in perfect shape.

Just to pass along some info cuz some had asked these questions. Titles are brand spanking new with NO MARRED UPC's.

Now, I am obviously in Canada and my order shipped from Montreal, so I wasnt sure what to expect (re: packaging). Well its a mix.

A few of the titles are in Canadian bilingual packaging (re: English but a little French on cover as well as English and French on the spine). REMEMBER THOUGH THAT THE MOVIES ARE STILL EXACTLY THE SAME AS NORTH AMERICAN REGION 1 RELEASES.

Here is how it broke down:

ENGLISH ONLY PACKAGING:

12 Monkeys
Cat People
Doom
The Break Up
Meet the Parents
The Breakfast Club
Animal House
Army of Darkness
Smokey and the Bandit
Fast Times at Ridgemont High

CANADIAN BI-LINGUAL PACKAGING:

Breach
Meet Joe Black
Mobsters
Meet the Fockers
Bruce Almighty
Liar Liar
Monty Pythons Meaning of Life

My iNetVideo order hasn't been delivered yet, but I'll report back once it has.

My The Hut order on The Island is still processing while they await for new stock:

Hopefully, that one will work out for you. I really think its a long shot though as I dont think any were actually left.

BIG PLUS IF THERE ARE THOUGH!

What I like to do is figure out how cheap they would have had to be in a B&M store (before tax), to get them at that price after tax. I only picked up 5 titles at $44.65 (8.93 each). So in order for a B&M store to compete with that, they would have had to price them at $8.39 each (before tax).
So I just look at it as. Even if they were titles I didn't absolutely NEED, Had I seen them in a B&M store for $8.39 each, would I have picked them up. And It was pretty much a no brainer for me.

Not to mention the $5, $10 or $20 in gas to drive there and back (unless one walks).

Talked to someone there today who said they were hoping to get more titles within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Nothing for sure but worth checking out every once in a while.

Definately! I have had the same discussions with them.

I am hoping these turn out to be Warner & Paramount titles.

This stuff is like crack !

I originally went from starting from scratch in April thinking that OK, maybe I will pick up 25 or 30 must haves at sale prices while I wait for BD's to become more reasonable.

Then that grew to 50...quickly followed by 75 and on and on.

Now I am on the verge of hitting 215 with the stuff still on its way and whats left in my "Wishlist", which oddly still seems to stay the same size despite the fact I am buying movies almost every day !?!?!?!?!
