I do the same anymore. I used to buy so many DVDs. I mean seriously, how many times was I going to watch Ghost Ship. Now I rent first and buy later.
I apply this also to greats. I would not want to watch a movie like the Pianist again. It is an amazing movie, but you have to be a masachist to watch that over and over. No offense to the masichists. On the other hand, I had to get the last Starfighter. It is not the greatest transfer, but I just love that movie. and 2001 and dune also.








. I wouldn't watch Last Starfighter or Dune more than maybe 2-3 times in a lifetime, but I'd watch the Pianist at least once a year.
