There's a few which I was uncertain about (conflicting info)..

Two Brothers (Deux Freres) (France - Pathe ; Universal) Warning: According to IMDB, language is English/Thai/French. Most likely only French subtitles
are available. According to forum information, English audio is available.

U Pana Boga w ogródku (10-Dec) (Poland - Vision) Warning: Probably no English audio/subtitles. Polish only.

Also, my list lacks the following, since from what I understand it's for the most part a narration-less film:

Les Triplettes de Belleville (The Triplets of Belleville) (France - Warner ; Sony) Warning:NO ENGLISH. French only.

Of all of these, I am most disappointed by RAN. The Studio Canal previews look GREAT but I can't read French, German, or the various Scandinavian languages. They should have put English or Spanish on there.

Thank you.

iNet's listening. Not only:
"Save 40% on shipping on all orders over $49 shipped to Canada and USA,"
but they've learned another lesson the hard way:
"Sale starts June 27, 2008 at 7pm, ends June 30, 2008 at midnight."
Of course, they still don't specify a time zone!

Well, they had some cheaper $4-$5 titles and those are now jacked up .

Just received my latest shipment from DVD.CRAVE after they added several Warner tiltes to their closeout. I was suprised to find that all 3 titles I ordered were opened, not sealed, with the cases showing some shelf-wear. WTF? This isn't right!

Is DVD.CRAVE selling used items? Are they a B&M retailer as well and these possbly are display copies? What gives?

I thought we had discussed that midnight was problematic. Does it mean midnight prior to June 30th or at the end of it?

Got both today from DVD.CO.UK.

Talk about fast! How the hell can it take 2 HD DVDs 3 days to get to me from the UK and it takes DeepDiscount 3 weeks from Illinois?

Must have been PRIOR to the 30th, because on the 30th at 2AM I tried to buy a handful of HDs and no discount. Oh well, their confusing description saved me some money.

---> DVD.CO.UK doesn't ship via USPS Media Mail, which can be incredibly slow.

Yes. Like FedEx Ground, their motto seems to be: We'll deliver whenever we feel like it, and not one day before!

La Vie en Rose (La Mome)

http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/ro...e-p-13316.html

Note that disc 2 is PAL and only in French (and NOT HD).

HDDVDBS is the same as Amazon... I mean it IS Amazon. So you're looking at $3 per disc for shipping. So even if that seller did have 12, they'd cost you $4 each.

I tried to order one, but it was going to charge $8-9 shipping. So it's a "lure-you-in" price and "get you on shipping" deal.

Wow, that's weird. I thought the mandatory charge for s/h was just under $3. Aparantly the seller can charge whatever they want for s/h now.

Thanks lastButNotLeast...A bit pricey for me, Some folks have been getting it for less than 10 Euro/Pound.

Yeah for a small company that came out of no where, inetvideo.com really is doing a good job IMHO. Im sure they got people reading as it seems like they've done alot of what we've asked for in our posts here..

INET, free HDDVDs please? lol

Although a sale that ends on the actual time that they specify would be nice. They lost $100 worth of extra business from me because of their last fauxpah of when the sale does or doesn't end .

That was a Genesis album, wasn't it?
(Selling in England by the Pound).

Hang in there. The next year or two will be great for used discs; I'm sure it will be on someone's list locally.

I didn't think there was still $100 worth of discs you don't already have!

I'm at 139... I'm having trouble finding stuff I still want except for Xploited. But he's so pricey. I did order Triplettes of Belleville though. Thinking about some others. Serpico would be fun!

Type in HDDVD import or HDDVD rare on eBay. I've gotten some decent--not great-- deals on imports. Most times cheaper than Tony.

Media mail is the slowest because first class, second class, priority and express mail have priority. When companys send media mail they most often don't send the item out until days or even weeks later. When they send the item with delivery confirmation and it says on usps site that the usps has been notified that a package is going to be sent. That means usps has not received package yet. So don't assume it always usps being slow. Many companies seem to take their time with media mail. I've personally given packages back to companies because they have a date on the package that is a week old. You mail with metered or a date stamp it must be mailed on that date not a week later. Many companies do this and it makes the usps look bad. Sorry I had to vent.

Yeah, you don't lose anything by not having English, and it's a fantastic, visually rich, great looking film. Both that and "Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait" have little to no dialogue.

Zodiac is back down to $20.99 at Amazon. Anyone know of a better deal, including shipping? I haven't found anything better yet, and I've been around the world (wide web) looking.

Yup Zodiac, Stardust, and Face Off are the only three HD-DVDs left that I really want and I cannot find them cheap anywhere.
