Denon 1908 v. HK 247

I'm trying to decide between the Denon 1908 and HK 247. I have a 40" 1080p Samsung LCD that I will use as the monitor and want to hook up my Xbox 360 Elite via HDMI and my Dish Network HDDVR receiver via HDMI. I am curious as to the video upconversion on the Denon. The HK will upconvert lower resolution signals to 720p right? Does the Denon do the same. Any info would be helpful. I've been thinking this one over for a while. Thanks!

I went with the 1908. Better features for the money.

As a former Denon owner and a new H/K owner, H/K sound quality is head and shoulders above the Denon (especially for the price). The 247 will eat the 1908 for lunch. Just my humble opinion.

I have owned the following receivers:

Denon AVR 2700
Denon AVR 2803
Onkyo 804
H/K AVR 247
H/K AVR 745 (returned the 247 and got this instead). I love it.
