Can we connect KEF Kit 200 to any other Onkyo receiver?

Hi All
I recently purchased KEF Kit 200. It was awesome speakers. But I noticed as there is a issue in DVD Player/ Receiver. It hangs when Optical In cable is connected. Especially when OPtical In is connected from TV to the DV Player and change the channels, I see the problem. I believe it is a known issue with Kit 200. I wish to know as can I connect this system to any other Onkyo or any other receiver.
It is connected as Power for DVD and all the system will be from Sub woofer. All the Speakers are connected to Sub woofer and a big cable connected from Subwoofer to DVD player. so that control can go from DVD player.

Please recommend as whether I can connect this system to any other Receiver?

What are the connection type from your KEF speakers to the receiver right now?

The front, centre, and rear speakers all use regular speaker wire; however, the sub uses a propriety connector to the head unit.

The satellites can but it looks like you'll need a special adapter for that subwoofer.

You could always buy another powered sub.
