After many tries I finally got my desktop to show on the tv, but it just the background, no icons or anything. I want to be able to play a pc game and have it show on the tv and I am confused on how to do that. When I try to select 720p with clone option it says mode not supported.
Currently there is a small vertical blue bar on each side of the tv display. I guess this is normal.
When I started Half Life 2 it played on my main display but I want it to show on the tv.
Also a question about sound
I have the analog connections going from the xf-i to my receiver so I can have surround in games when I get this running. I also want to set up just regular stereo sound from the pc to the tv so I don't have to turn on the receiver for just normal sounds and browsing type stuff. I connected a stereo cable from the flexi-jack on the xf-i to the pc sound jack on the tv but can't seem to get it to work.
Can anyone help get me going in the right direction?
