I think I've tried that, but at this point I can't remember for sure
So, I'll take another look at it tonight just to make sure. It's certainly a good suggestion, and I'll be a little embarrassed if it works and I didn't think of it

MediaBrowser then shows it as a folder to navigate into, and automatically recognizes a backdrop and folder image inside that subfolder. MetaBrowser then creates a subgroup as well, keeping things organized. It's a bit less automatic, and not recognized as an "official" box set, but the movies are all there and together. Also, I prefer using movie posters instead of box art, so another reason why I switched to MediaBrowser / MetaBrowser.
I actually started reading about MetaBrowser last night. I'm certainly leaning back in the direction of MediaBrowser for a front end (again). For whatever reason, My Movies seems to be a little buggy on my setup. W7MC crashes if I try to exit a movie without stopping it. I don't have that trouble with Media Browser. My wife is pretty excited about the prospect of movie marathons without ever leaving the couch to find another DVD, so I really want to make this work seamlessly.
I think it's one of those situations where I've invested so much time figuring out how to make Collection Manager do what I want, it's kinda hard to just can it. But, sometimes you've got to count your losses I suppose
Oh, and thanks for the info on how to setup box sets with Media Browser, the other method of using shortcuts and the like seemed a little too complicated for my taste.
