Klipsch Quintet III vs. JBL SCS500.5

Hey all,

between the aforementioned systems, which do you think is better? I can get either for $200, but obviously would need a sub for the quintets.

Speakers are subjective and only you could decide which you prefer, they are both good starter systems. I personally prefer the Quintet III better but that's me and also as you say you'll have to budget a sub with them also. For the price you won't go wrong either way.

I just purchased the JBL's and they sound awesome, I was upgrading from a set of Sony speakers that I had and these are a huge upgrade. I got mine from bestbuy for 398 where can your for $200?
