The LG is a nice unit.
Be aware that during the warranty period on these
(and other) units the manufacturer will simply replace the unit outright if a problem develops.
Once the warranty is over, though, parts will be very expensive
(if they are available at all 
) and you will likely be forced to purchase a new TV.
The longer warranty of the LG is a definite advantage!
This is the wave of the future.
