Logitech Z-2300 or other 2 channel setup?

Well I know there's an ongoing debate which to choose for a good 2.0 or 2.1 setup in the low $100 range. After much reading and testing at best buy, I went with the Logitech Z-2300. I've been enjoying them over the past couple of days and noticed that no matter what I did with the bass knob it was always a little too boomy and muddied the overall experience. I thought to myself... "I usually don't like ported sub setups, so why do I have one now?" I then ran around the house to fix this problem... the following is my solution:

After laughing my ass off at the idea, i tested it out on a various mix of music - pop, rap, R&B, Jazz instrumental, Vocal Jazz, Opera-ish, electronic, classical..... through the entire range of music i tested the setup sounds sooo much better and tighter. I still have my bass knob at about 40% and there is still plenty of low end to satisfy me. (For those interested, listening through iTunes, Flat EQ, all MP3's encoded 192KHz minimmum VBR)

I know there are those of you who have over $300 invested in your 2.1 setup, but I have a theatre setup if i want crazy audio. I think at $120 these speakers fit the bill for what i needed.

If you have a Z-2300 try this and see if it helps!

Also, i still have about 20 days to return this setup. Has anyone had experience with the Swan M10? It came out at the end of last year, but i can't find any good reviews on it. It looks damn sexy and i know Swan has a great reputation. Newegg has it on sale right now for a great price.
