HBO drops Inside the NFL

So HBO is axing 'Inside The NFL'. I'm not saying ItNFL was a major breadwinner for HBO, but I can't help but picture a crackhead selling their DVD player out of the trunk of their car when I think of the way HBO seems to going. I just can't imagine that show not being there.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

that sucks... they said that another network will pick it up just dont know which one... NFL Network(obviously) is seriously thinking of taking it

I'm pretty sure it wasn't their (HBO) idea. I figured it was only a matter of time before the NFL snatched that "NFL Films" highlight package back for their own Network. Expect to see a similar show, probably still including Chris Collinsworth, on that Network in the fall. Except, you know, if you're a TWC customer. Surely we shouldn't be surprised at this...? That highlight package was an exclusive to HBO and a valuable property. It fits their M.O. that the NFL would take it back for themselves as soon as they had an outlet for it.

I think your right Archi, although considering HBO's frugal programming decisions over the past couple of years - I don't see them having put up much of a fight to keep it.

Since I've been subscribing to HBO, HBO Sports has lost Wimbledon and INFL. What's next? Real Sports? Boxing?

You must not have watched the show. They were talking about never being fired before, and what a boneheaded move it was for HBO. Bob Costas was very clear: "This is the last show, EVER!" I was surprised HBO didn't edit some of the comments.

Last show ever for HBO. There is a good chance that this show slightly retooled shows up somewhere else next year.
