Auger, wryker and flash, i know you are worried about finding stands for the pl66, but if you cant find a stand that works for it, that doesnt make it super top heavy and increases the chance of toppling over, my suggestion is to look for a side table that fits your design in your theater. Stop looking for speaker stands and look for something more substantial that will not allow to topple over. These were designed to hang on a wall, it doesnt mean you cant put them on a shelf. Think outside the box and look at amazon or overstock.com to find something that works for you. Design, ingenuity, performance are all things we expect from speaker manufacturers but we need to work with what they give us and sometimes adapt. Just my thoughts, i dont want to upset people, just dont blame the tools, blame the carpenter.
