Sony e50a10 lense in front of bulb cleaning?

can the honeycomb looking lense that is exposed once the lamp is removed be wiped clean?

Compressed air, then dry microfiber cloth.

I found it hard to put my hand in so i used a bunch of new dry qtips and compressed air.
