Speakers not including sub needed for $800

I was set on RTI from Polk, but I can't find a complete set in Black at the price I want so I'm considering others. Looking to pickup two towers for front, two bookshelves for surround, and a center for $800. Any suggestions?

I'd like to avoid the Fluance type or anything that can't be found with reputable AV reviewers.

Cherry looks nice, found two Rti-8's two Rti4's and Csi3 for around $710 on various websites (shipped) which seems good (not as good as those picking them up at Tweeter but my store only has floor models). The wife thinks Cherry looks outdated, but I could still get them if I wanted to. Probably will get those when Fry releases the one per household, or just do one to the in laws house.

I went to BB and saw some of the Mozart's etc in Cherry and it looked high end. The Rti has real wood veneers so I'm sure it looks better than the particle board she is probably envisioning.
