DIVX/Xvid - simple, small and cheap? What are my options?

I want to be able to play divx/xvid movies on my LCDs. I can currently burn them on a DVD and play them with my DVD player, but I am looking for something better that I can stick behind or on top of my LCD. I have debated the DSM-520 with an external USB drive (limited to 20GB). I have looked at the Dvico TIVX.

Any suggestions for a small device that I can load the videos onto and play in as high def as possible?

Get a MacMini, it's about as big as 6 CD's taped together and you can play full 1080P mvk's out of it. No crappy divx or XVID!! Also, it's got wireless N built in so that you are no limited to the video on the machine but can access any netowrk shares that you set up on any wireless computers in the hous. What you say that you hate Mac Os, me too, that's why I use boot camp to run Windows XP and have no problems. Oh, did I mention that you can get a mini audtio to S/PDIF to run to you home receive for full 5.1 audio?
