Which 30' HDMI for BlueRay

OK, totally green here. I will be buying a Blue Ray for my wife this month and will be adding it to my HT set up. My rack is 30' away from the projector. The pj is a Sony VPL-HS60. (only one HDMI input) I was planning to run a dedicated cable for the Blue Ray. I figured HDMI would be the way to go but am not sure. I was looking at Monoprice for the cable. I have read about the HDMI cables but am still a little confused. I assume a silver coated cable is better than a Tin coated one. AWG doesn't appear to be that important. Should I go with a 1.3 cable or will it make no difference with the Blue Ray? Would I be better off just using the S-Video for the Blue Ray freeing up the HDMI for the DVD? I know it's a lot of questions. Thanks in advance for any help and/or clarification.

You definitely want HDMI for BluRay DVD. Don't know if your pj is 1080p capable or not, but you also want to think about the future.

You won't want to use s-video for the Blu-Ray; that would limit you to standard-def output, which sort of defeats the whole point of buying the player.

As for tin-plated versus silver-plated: we carry cables made from those same tin and silver-plated Copartner HDMI stocks, and we find that either of them usually work just fine at 30 feet.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I need a HDMI cable of 27ft and want to make sure the cable will be suitable for this 1.3 standard and 'Deep Color', if we ever see it. I'm still scratching my head as to whether this can be a relatively inexpensive cable or something in 70-80 dollar range.

Personally, I'd much rather stay with component as I have been for years, but I don't believe any of the HD players will pass 1080p over component.
