Disabling Audio in HDMI with Dish ViP722

I have the ViP722 using HDMI to my Mits 1080p DLP.

I also have a surround processor that does not have any HDMI. So I want to use HDMI Video Only to the Mits and use the Toslink audio to my receiver. Problem is I always get the audio portion to my tv as well. And I always have to mute the TV, which is cumbersome. Is there anyway or does anyone know how to disable the audio option? Surely this is pretty common for those who still have not yet upgraded the receiver with HDMI support.

Most people who have audio receivers have their TV speakers turned off. Problem solved. The audio goes into the receiver and video goes into the TV. Why would you want to run audio through the TV speakers for anything?

This is a very common problem because most people I asked have this problem. This is due to copyright protected nature of HDMI like DRAM so manufactures are still figuring out how to implement protected HDMI.

My Vizio TV does not decode HDMI 5.1 nor it passes it to SPDIF output. But it downmix HDTV over the air 5.1 signal and pass it to SPDIF output Tech support has no clue why! They all say use receiver but tell it to my old mother who's life already complicated enough with this smart gadgets If I set my DVD HDMI to PCM all is well but then I have no 5.1 at DVD SPDIF too!

Is there any easy way to remove audio from HDMI so I can use the analog inputs with HDMI input ?
