To check for any firmware upgrade, you must enter the TV's FM number.
This is the example:
Example: FM 1-XXX-XXXXXXXXX
What they don't state is whether you are to actually enter "FM 1" the "-" or whether the characters are 0 zero or letter O.
Also, the example has 3 X's then 9 X's.
My TV has only 8 characters after the initial three.
FM 1-042-000EG001
Any combination yields the same response:
There was no firmware found for:
so I don't even know whether I'm entering the info correctly!

Still puzzled with FM number thingy...but link points to
FM1-042000EGO01 being the format.
BUGGERS! This IS the correct format and NOTICE that there IS a LETTER O in there! Now the update page works for me.
