I will be getting my Samsung 4671 this week.As of now I have a 27inch CRT.Now in the same room,I have a mini fridge, now when you hear the fridge kick in,my 27inch CRT gets a flicker on the screen.

So should this be a big concern for me,when I get the Samsung this week? Will it do the same to the LCD,I have a surge protector, but would a clean power one stop this?Or should I move it to another room in the basement,I am guessing not the computer room.Any info or help would be great, thanks.

Get a power regulator, I have the APC LE1200 and it will regulate the power so you won't get the flicker if you want to keep it on the same circuit.

It's best to use a power regulator anywhere. Even if you move it, use a power regulator where ever you plug it in.

The APC LE1200 is also a surge protector so it takes care of everything.

So what your saying is,it will cause a problem with my new t.v.?

If it has been with your old tv, it probably will be the same. The digital tvs run best with constant power, dips and surges kill them much sooner. You are buying a very nice new tv, and it's only $50 for a lot of protection.

When I bought mine, no B & M stores carried them as they like to sell the high mark up items with pretty lights and colored plugs.

So the plain, well priced items are usually only available online.
