Apologies in advance for asking, but I cant seem to find this answer in other posts (though I am sure it is here). I have a new Samsung 4264 plasma (720p) with Comcast 8300 SA box (currently I am using component cables). I am trying to determine what the best settings are on the 8300. Ive read others that say to scroll through and see what the best is, but I am too much of a rookie to spot the differences. Any thoughts on what approach is probably best? I read someone say that if its a new plazma you should let the TV do the scaling. Does that mean set it on the "Pass through" setting? I hardly know what all of this means.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Also, is it worth buying the HDMI cable to replace the component? As you can see, Im not a huge HDTV snob (yet), but if it makes a difference I will do it.

Thanks!
