I have RCN in NYC. Currently I have the 6412 III DVR from them. I have had an ongoing issue when attempting to program a series recording. Their 6412 III DVR will allow me to only record First Run & Repeats. It does not allow me to program First Run Only.
Needless to say when you are forced to record repeats on a series, especially a series on a channel like HBO or Showtime which repeats them several times a week, the DVR's hard drive fills up quickly.
RCN has sent numerous signals to the box and the last one reformatted it to the DVR's original settings. Does anyone have a fix for this?
