John B. Good electronics knowledge. Also electrical and mechanical. At age 10 I moved next door to a retired TV radio broadcast engineer who worked on TVs. He was always in need of help so I learned all about electronics. He was strong on theory. When I was 14 he took me to the TV station he engineered and I was just amazed. I swore I had to to this for a living. I could not land an engineerig job in broadcasting or make a living repairing electronics so I went into CATV. It was a great choice. |
