In addition to current Bluray audio formats (bitstream or PCM), I play back SACDs with DSD direct (analog out) and DVD-A (HDMI) from Denon 955 to Onkyo preamp. The turntable setup allows playback of old Victor shellac records through the flat preamp as well as current vinyl through the RSP-2 preamp. My custom Omaura cased pc is set up to record from the turntable. I use an app called DC7 to clean up the recordings and also to apply original equalization parameters to the old 78s. |
