Anyone know if there is capture card the supports Bitstream audio?

Tried to the elgato hd60s and it worked fine for PCM audio format but I head no audio when pushing bitstream.

Whether Bitstream Input is via HDMI or Optical, the problem has been identified as a Software Issue....Recording of a Surround Audio Source has simply NOT been implemented. I think that this is INTENTIONAL on the part of the mfrs, under pressure from the various Copyright Holder Organizations.....they do NOT want users to have the ability to make bit-perfect COPIES of their Digital Surround Audio Programs and thereby have the ability to go into competition in the Disc [or on-line File] Distribution business. Sorry....

Fol. 10-yo Post summarized this subject...and also indicated that there is a Software DELAY Issue trying to decode Surround in Near-Real-Time without having LIPSYNC Issues.....which is [more or less] solved in AVR's by using a Special Purpose Surround Decode CHIP [with optional Surround Signal Delay to solve LIPSYNC Issues]:
