Sirius/XM Adds Things

Starting today, the Select Plan added streaming at no additional charge so if you're looking to save a couple bucks and don't mind going without Howard Stern that option is available.

Also, Pandora-like controls are available for those who have All-Access and use the app. This means you can create your own playlist, like/unlike songs, etc. The app is a little clunky to use but if you want to get your Barry White on 24/7 (no judgement!) you can go for it .

Sirius/XM also taketh away things . It seems they have taken off the streaming apps all of the MLB play-by-play channels as well as the MLB channel itself. The only way to get it now is to have an actual physical radio. Which I have, but that sucks hugely for those who use steaming only.

When they added the streaming, I added the XM app to my Kindle Fire. And I get the baseball stuff in the app. I gave it a test run the other day at work for listening to a Royals day game, & thought it worked even better than the MLB At Bat app I usually use. Easier to use interface, the app kept my work wi-fi signal better ( didn't cut out when I get on the elevator like At Bat does ), etc.

I guess it was a glitch because I have it back now, but there were a number of us who have All-Access and the option to stream games or the MLB channel itself was gone.
MonoStereo likes this.
