I am currently finishing up some vhs to dvd projects that I have not had time to finish in the past, now retired and want to get these done. I have enough blank dvd's to finish, but will need to replenish the supply. What are the more reliable disks to buy now for my two Panasonics, EH55 and EH50?

I am currently using Verbatim AZO's in the 100 spindle, about $25 from Amazon and they never seem to go on sale anymore:

Or if you prefer a 50 spindle or white top discs then these are good quality and work well in Panasonics. Note I only use -R disc in my Panasonics as it's more native to Panasonics, + discs don't burn as well and have quirks burned in a Panasonic.

Or if you like shiny top DVDs then these work good.

Gone are the days of super-cheap blank DVDs, at this point we should probably consider ourselves lucky we can find them at all....

jjeff,

Thanks for the info, it's really helpful, gives me hope, as an elderly neighbor mentioned he has some vhs tapes and wil be needing some more discs...... It's been years since using the EH55 and it has been humming along great, only issue is initially, the tray would open, then close quickly before you could put a disc in. After using awhile, it's fine! McKinct worked on my EH50 awhile ago and it's also working great, another great machine. I also have a few Magnavox's but seems the copies are just a little better with the Pannny's!

Only hub printables for me. My fleet of Canon MX-920 series keeps me happy.

Actually cheaper buying them in a 50 spindle compared to the 100 with no spindle, just shrink-wrapped

If anyone's looking for Verbatim AZOs, I found some DVD+R spindles on Amazon for $17.99.

https://www.amazon.com/Verbatim-4-7G...2-b09baa1ee7f7

I don't know anything about the seller, but the price was right. I think they are updating their stock frequently -- when I saw their page, it said they had 2 spindles left. I bought them, and not long afterwards I noticed they had 5 spindles left. Now they have 6. So who knows how many they actually have.
