good AM FM antenna

Hey folks I have an old Panasonic stereo that has still been running very well. I would like to start using it more to hear a.m. and FM and would like a recommendation on a good AM FM antenna. Also if I am supposed to place this by the window I am hoping it will have a long wire or can I just use speaker wire to extend? The current antenna just has bear wire that plugs into the stereo at the back

Thx

Hoping somebody has a recommendation for a single one after trying it. I've tried 2-3 different types already with poor results unfortunately. I could look on amazon/ebay too but there are so many fake reviews these days don't know what to trust

Thx

Picture of the back of the stereo? Most AM/FM reception problems are caused by your location and antenna placement. I personally am using all three types I pictured abpve with zero issues. Outside and high up is the best advice.

I have this one. Works great. It’s recommended using quad shield cable with it.
