Ceiling Atmos speaker advice

Dear all, I've got the Pioneer Andrew Jones series of speakers... two floor speakers for the front left and right, the center channel and two bookshelf speakers for surround. I know I could easily get the Atmos add-ons that Pioneer Andrew Jones makes but I wanted to get ceiling Atmos speakers instead. Any advice on which ones to get? My receiver is an Anthem MRX720. Thanks!

You would probably be better served to post this in the speaker forum

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

atmos 11.?.8 set up

I have to make a decision on my atmos setup , wll be installing the speakers this week . Now that Dolby has announced 11.8 I have to deicide if I want to reconfigure my intended speaker setup and locations. Currently have a Denon X8500H but now I'm considering a processor capable of 20 or more channels . I was originally going with 6 atmos in-ceiling with 9 beds . The overheads for Atmos with 8 speakers is different and appears more agnostic if I decide to run Auro3D or DTS etc.

I have two dedicated rows of seats and a third row bar seating for overflow, to have appropriate sound imaging for all seats is my goal if possible . I'm now wondering what is the best position for these additional speakers/channels for side surrounds and heights to give the best panning for all seats with emphasis on the MLP ( main listening position).

Suggestions welcome, thankyou in advance .

Dedicated Theater: Sony VPL VW5000 , Panamorph DCR & ISCO III L Anamorphic Lens, Draper TecVision XT1800X Screen, 2.40:1 134" diagonal curved , Denon AVR-X8500 , 9.2.6 Atmos, Panasonic UB900, Oppo 203, Lumagen Pro 4440 , (3) Paradigm CI Elite E7-L+C+R fronts, , (2) CI Pro P80-IW Rear, (2) Paradigm SA-ADP In-wall Surround, (6) SIG-1.5R-30 v.3 In-Ceiling, Subwoofers: (2) SVS SB-16 Ultra , (1) SVS PC13-Ultra .
