Best TV streamer for Atmos?

I have been looking for a solution for streaming shows and having them In Atmos? As the old lyrics go-Dazed and Confused. It seems some will do Netflix and some will do Prime but both seem to have issues with various streamers. I have a Denon Atmos AV and the speakers are set in walls and celing.

There are two holes in Daddys head where all the money goes.

What's the make and model of your display? Many newish 'smart' TV's can pass Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos via HDMI ARC...

I have been using the Apple TV 4K model and it seems to work well through my Denon for sound output. I have an issue with Disney Plus, but that being such a new app and service I am not worried about it just yet. I am curious what other people are utilizing.

Is that working well with Netflix and Prime?

Apple TV 4K does not support bit-streaming audio, they output all audio as Dolby MAT

Which model of Denon do you have. Does it support Dolby MAT?

I have the Denon AVR-X4400H I don't see anything about MAT in the manual or on the website. It appears to work for me. The display shows ATMOS speakers input and output when it is an ATMOS video.

This sounds most positive. There's nothing worse than spending money on a product that can't perform 'all' the tasks you require!

Out of interest.... Do your Denon products support HEOS?

Mine was the model just before HEOS so no but that option was not important to me. I just wanted Atmos.

From what I have read it will if you have a 4K TV which I don’t. I am starting to wonder if streaming Atmos is not quit ready for prime time

Thanks for the confirmation... It's just that Denon AVR's that support HEOS are currently some of the few devices that also offer support for Amazon HD Music tracks in Atmos too

My AVR-X4400H does support HEOS.

From the website:
Premium 9.2 channel AV Surround Receiver offering the most advanced 3D audio suite with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and unparalleled music playback options, thanks to our built-in HEOS technology, Apple AirPlay 2, and Amazon Alexa voice compatibility for seamless control.

Is that the case? I was under the impression that (other than HD) the support for Amazon Atmos music was limited to the Echo Studio at the moment. It would be fantastic if it worked on Heos.
