So I picked up the DVD audio version of the album yes fragile. I was just wondering what format you listen to. There seem to be a few options in the surround music tracks.
My question was on how to attain the 192/24bit.......simply select stereo ?

Stereo sounds amazing

I have a LCR trio i made from HT Guide forum About 16yrs ago, they have never sounded this good

As of Feb 20th still looking for a Marantz SR7010

In order to access the highest quality 'mlp (Meridian Lossless Packed)' audio tracks encoded onto the DVD-A disc, you will need to have a multi-format disc player or computer software that's supports DVD-A disc playback...

I'm presuming you have the 2002 release and your player is set to play the DVD-A layer (as opposed to the DVD-V layer)?
If so:
192/24 is stereo.
96/24 is 5.1.

Your Denon 4300 should be able to tell you the if the input is 192 or 96 if you go to General -> Information.

Because there is a DVD-V layer on the same disc and some folks end up playing the wrong layer inadvertently.

Anyway, you seem to know it all at this point, so I won't respond to your posts any further.
