This is an excellent sounding SACD! The Spring Is Here SACD will be playing first thing in the AM. Another excellent Stan Getz SACD is Pure Getz which is stereo and multichannel. Highly recommended!

I ended up returning it to Amazon tonight and re-ordered it again so hopefully it was just a defective copy.
Guess it was a defective disc as the replacement Out of Time blu-ray plays just fine. First time I've gotten a defective disc.

Will do. I previously had the FiiO X5iii for a day, didn’t like the clutter and untidy interface, buggy and confusing UX and I didn’t need streaming and Bluetooth

Also briefly had the #1S but didn’t like the plastic body and got a really good deal on the older version but with upgraded op-amps on the special edition

Will let you know after Christmas

There were over 750 new SACD releases worldwide in 2018. That's more than all of the Blu-ray Audio titles ever released worldwide.

Here's one SACD title that was announced, and released, last week....

The Opus #1 definitely delivers on the sound quality

Though not as convenient and integrated as using an iPod but once files are transferred it works quite well.

A little lag in UI only when scrolling huge song lists but generally ok

Definitely brings tracks to life.

I have a Fiio X3ii and it has revolutionized the way I can listen to music. I spent two years burning my CD's and can now listen to anything, anywhere. Maybe someday I'll even take advantage of it's DSD capabilities.

The Opus looks intriguing and will be worth a look next go around.
