I can earn Amazon gift cards by taking part in various employer Wellness challenges. They generally revolve around fitness, diet, mental health and so forth.

I have shared in past staff meetings how my Friday night surround listening sessions (coupled with a good beer or drink) are crucial to my mental well being. Nobody there of course gets it, but for me its a very real thing.

So in a way, Ian Anderson very much so contributes to my overall wellness.

XTC as The Dukes Of Stratosphear

Psurroundabout Ride

I had this stored in my Amazon shopping cart. Since I've never heard it before, I planned to listen to it first on-line before buying.
Well, with all the Black Friday frenzy, I added more stuff to buy, and clicked away........

I kind of wished I had listened before buying. I bought this title solely on the stellar reviews of the surround mix. Indeed, the surround mix is awesome, however the music is not my cup of tea at all.

I'll give some more listens though and perhaps I'll come around.

Same here. I actually have liked XTC since the 80s but I just cannot listen to the Dukes album. Not sure if/when I'll listen to it again. Still nice to have it in the collection.

A number of years ago I purchased the DVD-A of: https://www.amazon.com/Cheskys-Magni...s=music&sr=1-1

The disk is a really quirky collection of interesting surround sound and includes a 50hs, 40hz, 30hz, and 20hz sub heartbeat. My DVD-A would not play the heartbeat for some reason. I did some checking and found the SACD on Amazon and just got it yesterday. Got the heartbeat back. Overall, kind of a cool demo for a friend who hasnt really experienced surround sound music.
