Question for REL owners. Looking to replace my two Klipsch RP-120s. Not sure which model between the Ti5/7/9 I should be looking at. Room size is 18x18x8 (with one side that opens into the kitchen and dining room), front L/R are sonus faber concerto domus. 50/50 split on HT/Music. The REL website suggested the Ti7 x 2 but I'm worried about dropping from a 12 inch to 8 inch speaker. Will I lose the bottom end of my Home Theater? Will the eights be able to pressurize the room. Like the finish in white
Start with a T9i & you can always add another one later if you find the need too.
Hi. Anyone tried the REL Subwoofer Hight Cable
by Analysis Plus? I am looking a higher quality one to replace my stock Rel neutrik speakon. Any recommendations?
I have the T7i and T9i for in-home demo right now. My dealer gave me a bunch of different cables to try out for myself. I’m not a cable tweaker so I didn’t expect much, but I will be buying the REL Bassline cable regardless of which REL I use. It was definitely better for me than the cable that comes with the subs. The bass was tighter and more defined to my ears, with more weight to it as well. It’s expensive, but I couldn’t unhear it. REL markets it for their higher-end subs, but it sounded great when I tried it with the T9i.
After hearing the Bassline I read about another brand called Signal Cable that makes cables to improve the REL high level connection performance as well. Their website shows them being a lot less expensive than the REL cable.
Also, if you’re looking for a line level cable, I found the Audioquest Boxer cable to sound great with the REL subs in my setup.
