See above.
I'm afraid not,.....Unless your AV/PROCESSOR source has PRESETS that you can edit and, or save

good to know. just figured if my subs can do 120 db, why cant they independent of whether maggies or focal. learn something new.

I am interested in either the F18 or G25HP. Do you have any THD numbers at the above outputs at lets say 10,15,25 and 40? If I had to pick one I would like to see how they look at 15.

I have a quick questions on dual fv25hp. I have 2 more months to enjoy these at their loudest form possible even if I have cracked some drywall that will need repair in the future. 1) Has anyone who has dual ported ever tried to have one port facing up and the other one down? 2) For those who listen so music on ported subs only, is it better to use LFE or RCA IN? Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I missed that question. I've posted this graph before. Here is the difference:

The quickest rolloff was what sounded best to me. The light blue was LFE in and the 12Hz slope setting, as "default". I could hear the 200-300Hz sounds and it wasn't clean.

Maybe is why I finding it hard to dial it in with music. Movies is it's fine I love the sound but music seems to have slow drop off and it lingers. I have tried every combination but still same outlook. I think I'll need separate sealed subs for music. All using the LFE, I sent back my mic for the 2nd time because the REW was telling me I have huge dips on 17, 40, 60 and 65. I really wish I would remember to save these things to share. Mind you this is with 2 subs and with 1 only I only have dips on the 40, 50. It really has me scratching my head

You can run up to 100Hz XO with Line In, I've done it for years. I believe those tests were done with the AVR set to 80, but I didn't write it down. Just make sure your mains can pick up the slack in the midbass. Not a problem for most of us.

Data bass has numbers on the F18. I’m sure the G25HP would also have really low THD.

It seems all of the Rythmik subs are clean low distortion subs. I love my FV18’s.

I'm not sure what I'm getting myself in for (well, I'm a little bit sure), but I just ordered a Cross Spectrum calibrated Umik-1 mic.

You better start saving for the miniDSP 2x4 HD as you may don't like what would you see after taking initial measurements

Well, I don't need to save. The bass in my room sounds pretty good to me, but we'll see.

I thought mine sounded awesome too. Then I saw what was going on and made it even better.

I also recommend the WI-DG with the MiniDSP 2x4HD.

Understood. Does the WI-DG get you anything OTHER than wi-fi access to the MiniDSP? My internet switch is essentially on the same wall as my system equipment and all my network hookups are via ethernet and not wi-fi, so it's not a problem adding one more if I wind up getting one.

Nope, just wireless access to the MiniDSP. I do the beq thing so it’s pretty convenient for that. Eliminates having to hook up a cable but in reality not that big of deal.

I just sent back my UMIK-1 back to Cross Spectrum Labs today to get it checked out. I have that dip at exactly 15Hz from both my G25HP, and L22 by playing them separately, and both together. Each sub is at a different location in the room....

This is my latest results using line in, and a miniDSP 2x4 HD.

Subs Only, No Smoothing

G25HP = RED
L22 = GREEN
BOTH = BLUE
MINIDSP 2X4 HD = ORANGE

That mini DSP really works magic, well not 100% ofcourse but alot better. I'm not fully sure if the mics have issues or just my homes layout just super messed up I really thought having 2 fv25hp would fix the nulls but kinda got more I'm sure its user error but now waiting on my 3rd mic and hopefully this will tell me its either the mics or I have Interstellars black hole and it's in my house

I'm right there with you. I hope it was a bad mic, or I might have to get another Rythmik sub later on if it would help plug those other small nulls and bring up that 15Hz valley/slope

Make sure you time align those subs though, if you haven't yet.

Yes, or maybe I should of gone with dual g25hp. I always wonder if a sealed would help me in the mid bass since my rf8000f cant keep up with my music loudness. But then I'll probably need another mini dsp.

Yes I saw a bunch of videos on YouTube and that helped alot to time align them.

Sealed won't have more midbass, but it will perceptually have more midbass because the curve is more round.

I just wanted to say what I really love about the L12 over the LV12R and all the ported subs I've had over the years is how quickly the woofer can snap back into the rest position during quick transients. It's like you can hear how quickly the woofer gets sucked backwards into the enclosure after a loud and quick bass note or sound effect. Kinda like a pulled punch with a nice snap to it.

With slower bass notes and rumbles, it is less noticeable but still the sound is super clean and controlled.

Makes sense, I guess I'm having a hard time matching these new subs to match the low end to mid bass.
