In the first week, it should give me time to review some material and get a good feel for what these subs can do. I clearly remember what the v3601 can do, the v3601 AND the v1801 together, and what my dual s3611s can do, and have graphs saved on each, so I am expecting this to be a fun time. The two things that I am interested in at first is the sound quality, and how punchy they sound versus what I am used to.

Here are a few songs that I am going to play as soon as I get the sub(s) up and calibrated:

1. Behemoth- Demigod (amazing test for transient response in a sub plus I love dark metal)
2.Twice in a Blue Moon- Ferry Corsten
3. Lost in the Fire- Gesaffelstein/The Weeknd
4. The Dope Show-Marilyn Manson
5. Ghosts n' Stuff- Deadmau5
6. Psychadelic Addict- Anuka
7. Cymatics- Nigel Stanford
8. Lionheart- Phazz
9. The Logical Song- Supertramp
10. Fourplay- Bali Run
11. Felix Hell- Organ Sensation (a low bass monster of a song throughout, but particularly starting at 3 min. From 3:40 min to 4:00 my house shudders and also last 30 seconds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR9c...&index=18&t=0s

A few movie clips:

1. Both fight scenes in TIH
2. Tron light race scene
3. RP1 first race scene and bomb blast
4. Max Mad Fury Road Intro and War Rig into storm scene
5. 13 hours mortar scene
6. Aquaman freeing the trident scene
7.Overlord intro
8. Hunter Killer beginning
9. Various 20 hz hits from The Nun
10. Hacksaw Ridge- Naval ship clears Ridge
Great list of movies and music there mate, I know some of the music and all of the movie scenes well, they should make for a solid test!
Though no sub test is complete without the John Wick club scene and WOTW pods emerge IMHO

And I of course vote for picking one of the subs up ASAP!!
Ware all dying to hear your thoughts

Yeah, I simply see no other way, I do 2 trips! Plus, to be honest, both subs will fit much easier.. if not I may have to use my dads trucks versus 2 of them fitting in my Yukon. I dont want to lay them driver or amp facing the floors.

My patience is wearing out, in a good way, and I am getting anxious now.

All this discussion about the new subs is very painful for me, with the downsizing, it’s completely out of the question for me, and my cherished V3601’s will need to find new homes.

It has become a practical necessity. I am woefully financially unprepared for retirement and I’m 61. Except for the loss of the dedicated HT space, this is a good move and, I believe, the right move. But I wouldn’t be truthful if I suggested it doesn’t come with some pain.

I say wait and make 1 trip...it's not like you are subless nor is your current setup lacking.

Many thanks! I’m investing some of the proceeds from the sale of the house in a home in Florida, so there’s some possibility down the road of a more elaborate system there, but the new Michigan place is a small condo, so what I have now is completely impossible there. I’ll need to live vicariously through guys such as yourself!

You answered your question there.

Good demo list you have ready!

Also, add a few more low bass to mid/upper bass demo scenes to let those IPALS shine; I’d recommend any of the following:

Straight out of Compton, Art of Flight, John Wick shootouts, Book of Eli Gatling gun and book bomb, Lone survivor shootouts, The Hurt Locker, Terminator salvation intro, Terminator Genisys bye bye skynet (most the movie), Interstellar launch, Tron, Transformers AOE, Iron Man Jericho missiles, U-571, Master and Commander, The Dark Knight, Inception train crash and shootouts, just to name a few that all have excellent low/midbass ~30-120Hz.

Hope you’ve got some time off for dozens of hours of listening sessions.

Dave I say do two trips for a couple of reasons, one is you get to take your S36s back and alleviate that for the second trip and you can use whatever vehicle you have now to easily pick up the one TV36 now, I picked up my two V3611s with a very big SUV and had to put them driver side down with wedges to get them to fit and was a PITA both getting them in and taking them out when I got home. You could experiment with the one TV36 now and get a good feel of it's performance in your new treated room, I think considering how close you are it would be the way to go, just my opinion.

I'll try and get some CS of my V3611s up in the next few days so we have some comparisons to the TV36 when you get them, happy listening my friend and enjoy.............it's difficult for me (first time) to not be involved in a new project like the TV36 especially with the iPALs................

Been some time since i wanted to unlike a post more than this. Of course he should make 2 trips, he bought 2 subs with more bass than a normal person would need . Not a time for common sense to take over.

I believe I could make that trip in under an hour considering the carrot at the end of the rope. Just sayin

Since I've been subless I've taken up journaling. I thought I would share today's entry:

Dear Diary,

Day 879 without a subwoofer (okay it's actually day 87 but it feels much longer). Since getting struck by lightning I've given up storm chasing. Oh sure, the thunder provides great bass but the accompanying lightning hurts... A LOT! So I've moved on in pursuit of bass from safer sources.

I now reside in an old conversion van down by the railroad tracks where I get lulled to sleep at night by the tranquil bass of passing freight trains. And the tactile response from the bass is even better than my Crowsons! Yes, it's true this neighborhood has a rather high crime rate but that's okay, the gun fire reminds me of watching John Wick in my HT... so it's kind of nostalgic.

Well that's it for now. Next week I might move down to Fort Lee, I hear there's an artillery range there. Sounds like a good place to set up camp.

Well that's it for now. Next week I might move down to Fort Lee, I hear there's an artillery range there. Sounds like a good place to set up camp.
I heard customers are setting up camp outside of PSA headquarters like it's Black Friday

Like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I can't wait for the public unveiling and testing impressions.

Dear Diary,

Day 879 without a subwoofer (okay it's actually day 87 but it feels much longer).
i remember back when i sold my pair of rythmik fv15's and i had to wait a few weeks for the fv25's--it felt like torture. now i'm 160+ days in since selling the fv25's and i don't even care anymore, go figure.

can't wait to see everyone's impression of the tv36 when it finally ships though.

That's interesting, I wonder why its different this time for you.

I've been doing pretty well through the last three months but it gets harder by the day. I really miss watching movies in my HT.

However, there is a bright side... this wait has shown my entire family just how much we all enjoy the benefits of my hobby. Through the years the HT has become a bonding point for the family. We make sure to have a weekly family night and watching movies together is often what we do and right now we all miss it. My whole family is very familiar with the three letters P.S.A. and what they stand for (Power Sound Audio) but I think they have actually come to believe PSA really means having a great family experience... Because they all love the way the speakers and subs bring the movies to life.

They keep asking me when the news subs are going to get here so that's shows they are as addicted as I am. And that's not a bad thing.

Subwoofers: PSA TV36 iPal X2 ...Speakers: PSA MTM-210T L/R - PSA MTM-210C Center- PSA MT110SR's Surrounds - RSL C34E Atmos... Motion Actuators: Crowson Shadow 8 - X2
Video: Samsung UN65KS9000 4K SUHD - Oppo UDP-203... AVR:Denon X4400... Gaming: XBOX ONE S
