or

2. Send the ICE amps to me at no extra charge.

So, my question for you all is this, should I take the money and run or do you think the ICE amps make that big of a difference?

Thanks in advance!
Yeah Tom is by far the most honest and fair guy you can do business with. That's one reason why I never hesitate to recommend PSA.

I agree with Mike, go with option 2. The ICE amps are great and since you already spent the money you might as well get the better amps.

Me too. I worked last weekend and I have Friday off! Can’t wait to smoke some cigars and play with the system. (Not at the same time of course)

@basshead81 can answer this as he did the upgrades on his subs. IIRC, he said it was a pretty substantial improvement.

Nothing like a good small cigar, with your favorite drink when watching a movie
Just as when working on a system, and things do not go as plan. A few puff give a nice time off, to think.

Sounds like fun.

Try Lorn.
. "Acid Rain" comes to mind, but a lot of his stuff is very bass heavy. Neat video too, a lot of it is one shot.

Nightmares on Wax - "Smokers Delight" has a lot of nice bass. Relaxed....

Alex - "Blood Club" . album:

All of this you should be able to find on streaming services in good quality.

Here go some Hip-Hop tracks that my niece always ask me to play...she says " your old school stereo has beat"

These tracks do have some pretty good midbass

Enjoy.

Did you find that it dug deeper or overall had more output?

I feel like if I don't get the ICE amps I'll always wonder what if.

You get a slight increase in extension, output, and SQ. It's not night and day but it's worth it imo. Plus I believe that the ICE stuff is more reliable then the BASH. The only positive to the BASH amps is that they are silent turning on and off. The ICE stuff has a mechanical "click" when they turn on...not a big deal just pointing it out.

I'm going with the ICE amps. I feel like I will have always wondered "what if" if I don't do the upgrade. Money was already budgeted and has been spent anyway

Good choice...then when you are ready for more, you can move up to the B&C Neo 15" "12" series drivers...it's a slippery slope around these parts.

could be , I thought I remember that even the square edge S3000i werent upgradeable due to the enclosure not fitting correctly or something.....But that was many IPA's ago , so those files in my brain are now corrupted....

You're remembering the S1800, V1800, and V3600. the 15" models are a different story.

@basshead81 said, you get more bang for the buck, and pretty easy to swap out, especially if I can do it. Then just put the old amps back in the box that Tom sends, and then recalibrate and enjoy.

Hello PSA friends. I just placed my pre-order for 2x V3612's. I was originally going to go with 2x SVS PB-16 Ultras but then some people recommended I check out PSA and I'm glad I did. I sent a couple messages after business hours on a Friday night and Tom V responded himself very promptly. Call me super impressed.

Anybody have vented/ported subs behind an AT screen? How do you have them placed, on the floor or raised so the vent is within the envelope of the screen? Any problems with the air moving the screen? I'm looking to get a SI 1.2 slate acoustic screen.

I'd try to keep the port below the screen so that it doesn't shake the screen when wind comes out of it. Are you building a false wall and then putting grill clothe outside of the screen?
