Thank you kind sir. Safe travels.

P.S. I am sure Tom would still let you buy a subwoofer. Don't worry . It will be our little secret. Just you, me, Tom and the other 1000 posters in this thread. LOL.

Yeah, no one here knows jack about websites.. So we do our best and things like this happen. It's something we have discussed---ponying up 10-20k or whatever to have a decent website. But for what? Until production meets demand why bother?

I always thought doubling sales every 6 months would be more fun. But as it turns out...not so much.

* Those have been sold out for weeks now.

* The ENTIRE production run of cabinets I am getting next week(go Jim!) is SOLD OUT.

* I ALREADY have orders that put the NEXT production run at about 50% SOLD OUT. This is a production run I haven't even scheduled yet! This will be 100% sold WAY before we get them. It's literally impossible for me to keep these in stock from the first day we began taking pre orders.

So yeah. I'm not the most likable guy. Never have been, never will be. BUT---there seems to be a large percentage of people who respect that I'm NOT going to play the two faced PC game to make a sale or try to be mr. popularity.

And for anyone who infers "well, If I can't take pot shots at tom--- I'm not posting here anymore!"

Team Power.
Taking pot shots at the creator of Power Sound Audio in the Power Sound Audio thread is like walking into Conor McGregor's gym and talking ****e to him IN HIS OWN GYM. Not a great idea. Not only is Conor going to throw a dolly at you but his people are going to go get more dollies and throw them as well. Or in this case subwoofers. LOL.

My friend used to call up his ten most PIA customers every year and tell them thanks for the business but he had run a cost benefit analysis and they cost him too much money. Not all clients are created equal. Some clients are profitable, others are not. Don't think of it as losing customers think of it as gaining more time to service your loyal client base.

Blade Runner 2049 running your subwoofer at only -49? That is an insult to that movie and your subwoofer.

I know! Just a digital vudu stream bc my son is sleeping upstairs.
Did have dynamic eq on though so there was decent oomph.
I save my Japan import Sony 4k uhd disc of BR2049 for my alone time...

Very considerate of you. Remember children are comforted by a beating heart or a booming subwoofer. Reminds them of being in the womb.

Whew!.... I may need sometime to recover from the intensity of the last couple of pages.

I'm not sure what it is about subwoofers but they sure can create some seriously passionate posts. AVR's and Blu-ray players don't seem to have that same effect on people.

Even people who own the same projector argue about the best ways to measure contrast, lumens, etc. They argue about the correct settings for the projector. At least here is it non owners causing all the drama.

I have dual 1500, the one at the back of the room fires into the room. Would it be better to have it firing into the seating next to it?

I think they might actually be worse. To the point that I would almost put them up there with the audiophools. It's pretty ridiculous over there.

Not looking for sympathy, but just starting to come out of it and thinking some kind of retail therapy /upgrade may be in order. Maybe subs or TV.

Current subs are dual S3000 to dual s3012 / S3612's - just cant do TV36's here

OR

50" Kuro to 65" OLED-or maybe Samsung Q80/90? Everyone says OLED from a Kuro but those Q90's look pretty dam good too now.

I know right now pricing is right on PSA subs, so there's that factor. 2019 TV's will be discounted soon as well when 2020 start coming out.

Thoughts?
Sorry to hear of all the tough times recently. Losing family members of the 2 or 4 legged kind is always a chop to the throat. Takes your breath away and hurts like hell at the same time. Leads to depression and anxiety. I hope you find the thing you need to feel better whether that is medication, counseling , a new TV or some kick ass subs. I lean towards new subwoofers but that is me.

Sorry to hear you've been dealing with such loss lately. I hope you're able to reflect on good memories of those who've departed.

Regarding your question, I suppose you should decide which piece of the system needs to catch up to today's technology more. I do think the new TV would make a bigger impact than upgrading the S3000 subs.

Best of luck with your choice. Here's to brighter days!!

Thoughts?

It’s a great time to be alive in the A/V market. Just in the last year or so many great new subwoofer choices, but this year is going to be amazing for T.V’s too, with several manufacturers getting into the Oled game, driving up quality and lowering prices! Tough call there. Good luck!

[quote=Todd G.;59249906]Sorry to hear you've been dealing with such loss lately. I hope you're able to reflect on good memories of those who've departed.

Regarding your question, I suppose you should decide which piece of the system needs to catch up to today's technology more. I do think the new TV would make a bigger impact than upgrading the S3000 subs.

Best of luck with your choice. Here's to brighter days!![/quote @Todd G. makes a great point about upgrading your oldest technology. Is the Kuro from Pioneer/Elite or Panasonic when they licensed the name after Pioneer/Elite got out of the plasma TV market? Maybe a new 4K TV is in order. Maybe a projector?

Off subwoofer topic, but............

It’s my understanding that Panasonic will not be re-entering the US market for consumer TV sales (typing this as I listen to my PSA subs...as far as anyone knows... just so we’re closer to being on-topic...).
