I'm looking at the echo 15. Did the price just go up from 950 to 1000 for the echo 15, or was 950 just the intro price?

Well g21s are officially a month late. I'm not blaming Jeremy at all as I know some things have happened that were out of his control and caused delays, but it is getting a little frustrating.

Jeremy I've talked with you on the phone about this but never really got a new ETA. If you could provide me with some re assurance and let me know when you expect to ship my sub I would really appreciate it.

Again Jeremy I'm not upset and have nothing against you or the company I guess I'm just starting to feel like I've been left in the dark with little to no updates on a timeline

Sorry about that.
I haven't forgotten about you or the new sub ideas.
We can definitely touch base tomorrow. It's been full on production last few days here.

Today and yesterday were the busiest days I can remember in the last 6 months.
We set up a new logistics company to handle domestic and international freight on Monday with a full in person demo and we have been prepping about 2 dozen loudspeaker and subwoofer units for shipping. We chronicled some of the fun on facebook.

By my count, I have been here about 32 hours since Monday morning so it's off for a shower, food and rest.
Much to do the rest of the week, but we'll knock it all out!

Question for you on your gamma 15's what type of surrounded material is on the driver? Is it foam or rubber?

My Gamma18 was single boxed like the pic Chucky linked but the foam corners held the sub far from potential damage and the box was sturdy. I would not worry!

I received my Echo 18 today. Got it all unboxed and up and running. Running some Wayman Tisdale through it currently to loosen it up before trying any movies. One thing I will say is of course it's large, but the height of it is the most striking thing I noticed when I had it free of packaging material.

Jeremy, when you get a chance give me a call. I'm having an issue with the amp not going into standby mode. After a few minutes it will attempt to go into standby mode, but doesn't. It will then try every 1 minute. Sometimes the light goes from green to red, then immediately back to green. Sometimes it will go from green to no light, then immediately back to green. When it does this it's always accompanied by a click, then a double click sound. I watched it do this for 25 minutes straight, attempting to go into standby every minute. I don't think this could be any user error, but I'm hoping it is and not a bad amp. Here is a video of what it's doing. View My Video

Edit: my son has been playing PS4 and it's even doing this while the sub is active, although not on a regular 1 minute interval like when it isn't receiving a signal. The amp, although not being driven hard, is very warm. I believe this is a bad amp.

It would be cool if we could have a RA backlog tracker, that way we could see the order fullfillment progress in real time.

It was a pleasure speaking with you.

The auto circuit can be a bit finicky when the input signal is either too high or too low coming from the receiver.
If the input signal is too low it may go into standby too often or too easily during quiet scenes.
If the input signal is too high it could have trouble going into standby at all because the idle voltages during quiet program could still be higher than what it is looking to see. So some experimentation with bringing down the receiver sub level and bringing up the subwoofer gain to get a better gain structure could very well be the fix.

I am told the amp tends to dissipate heat through the plate. During certain types of program material, it may warm up.

At any rate, try a few things and if it is indeed and amp malfunction we will swap it out no problem.
Like we discussed on the phone, The "always on" position is the one I prefer to use on any sub myself but I am pretty confident we can get the auto working like you need it to. One way or another.

Sort of like the Dominoes Pizza website?
I think the best way we can do that is to chronicle it all on Facebook shipping as we pound out assembly, checking, boxing and which we have started doing this past week.
(We always have from time to time but things are really ramping up).

The biggest production bottleneck hit us around XMAS to about February with cabinets.
Those guys lost some serious time with production and it really affected us hard.
They made things right and really went above and beyond to get us dozens of cabs and grills in the past couple of weeks.

In a few weeks we will be caught up on pretty much all of the end of the year backlog with February orders right behind them.
Then it will be on to current orders, the Echo 21 and new 1400 orders. It's all going down pretty fast but not "sloppy" fast.

I often get specific date requests and the unfortunate thing is that is hard to predict as the real answer is "as fast as humanly possible and not one second slower". We have to be conscious of date ordered, production logistics , pay attention to things according to how we can schedule freight and ground pickups as well as make the best use of the floor space by the bay doors.

We have an avalanche of orders going out but we will take care of quality and packing in the process.
Since this last batch of cabs came out of paint, I have not been at the shop for less than 12 hours a day.
It's all good though. This is exciting and I am very happy to be working hard and seeing things come to fruition.
It is exhausting but amazing and rewarding at the same time.

Our cabinet shop just got in an amazing sliding saw and a new and improved CNC is on the way. So production capacity this spring/summer will go up dramatically.

I'm waiting on the new back braces to get here.... kidding!

Oh it won't be far behind, we have some ready for paint.
We are working through some older stuff right now and a couple of international shipments, but we are blazing through things pretty fast.

Thank you!

Quite a few of the ID companies are a small operation too.
I can say, deduced from experience that all of those guys work extremely hard too. All of them.
Probably more so that anyone would ever imagine.

Hey Mix, what are your sonic impressions of it so far? Were you able to try it with the amp in "always on" mode to see how it behaved? My ice amp does get warm in the upper part and the auto on is a bit less sensitive than my other subs but with my PS4 have had zero problems as the LFE content is steady.
