Sharing subwoofer between home theatre and 2-channel systems

Hi there,

Is there an effective method of sharing a sub, mine a PC-13 Ultra with the older BASH amp, between a HT system with digital EQ, and a 2-channel system with a preamp having dual balanced output?

Thanks.

Do you have both systems in the same room?

5.1: Samsung PN60F5300 | Sony BDP-S1700 | Denon AVR-1713 | EMP E55Ti | EMP E56Ci | EMP E5Bi | Outlaw Ultra-X12

2.0: Oppo DV-980H | Apple Airport Express | Topping D30 | Parasound HCA-1500a | Chane A1.4

Yes. I use one of these:
http://www.parts-express.com/behring...-cros--248-669
It can accept up to 3 inputs (Left, Right, LFE) and outputs up to 6 subs, in any matrixed or summed combination.
It also has 9 independent variable: delay, phase, XO, DEQ/PEQ/Limiter DSP channels. It has everything you need and then some...

For your AVR or processor, you likely need one of these:
http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2

Then you'll just need a bunch of XLR cables of various lengths:
https://www.parts-express.com/talent...8-ft--240-9480
https://www.parts-express.com/talent...0-ft--240-9107
https://www.parts-express.com/talent...5-ft--240-9102

This way you can have up to 6 subs. (Any combination of: Left, Right, LFE or bi-summed.)

I use two of them, and I'm buying a 3rd soon (got a lot of subs and speakers.)

Here is about half of the available screens (there are literally a 1000 settings, with a million combinatorial combinations if you use all 9 XLR wires, or in my case... 18+ XLR!!!)

Once you get passed the learning curve it is actually quite simple. and changeable with a flick of the wrist.
