I still can't get this to burn right after 3 attempts on a 50GB rewritable bluray disk that I always use first to test (saves $).

This is the IMGBurn error. Anyone else seeing this?

I will be in the same boat with no way to play the demo unless it is on a disc. I will go buy a pack of blanks to send to someone who is willing to burn a copy for me.

Did you do a full (not quick) format of the disc?
I had no trouble with my bargain brand BD-RE (I would offer the brand name, but it's in Chinese ).
Michael

Did you really need to quote that entire post in your reply?

Have you been able to burn another ISO to this disc? Perhaps try another ISO to verify the disc is viable. And as LastButNotLeast recommended, erase disc then do full format. I purposely left 2 GB of space free so there wouldn't be size issues.

Add SW:FA as well. @Fatshaft also mentioned Zoolander 2.

But this does bring up a quandry, do i start a new thread for the 2016 disc? Or just continue this one?

I didn't try to reformat it first I've never had to do that before. But I'll try it.

Maybe my rewritable disk has failed. . How many writes do you get on them before they fail. I've probably used this one at least a dozen times. It's a verbatium

Since there still seem to be a few issues with this disc , I'd suggest a new thread for 2016.

Downloaded and seeded for a while last night. Enjoyed a lot of the scenes in movies that I would typically never watch. Great job overall!

Yes, once you mount it with VCD you can just copy the individual m2ts files from the STREAM folder to wherever on your NAS. Im unaware of the files supported by kodi, but I would think m2ts files are.
This worked like a charm!

Finally got a chance to extract the M2TS files from the ISO last night. They stream flawlessly through Kodi! I can't attest to the Atmos clips since I have a non-Atmos AVR, but all of the lossless audio is coming through loud and clear...well, the Ultron clips aren't that loud (as expected).

Still seeding!

I tried the db boost function on the Ultron clips, but i guess it didn't work. I could have put a disclaimer to turn up your MV for those clips, but i figured most frequenting these threads are aware of the level issue with that particular movie.

Now that the disc is in the wild, I'm pretty sure some will finally get to peruse it this weekend.
I have one ask while you are going through it (or if you have already gone through it): critical feedback.
Stuff you didnt like, clips too long, too short? Too many from the same movie etc...?
Please let me know, looking to the 2016 disc.
Would like to have an idea of what people liked and didnt like about this first attempt.

I did a whole lot of skipping around last night and the only thing I noticed is that there was only ONE clip from Fury Road (?!).

I don't know if it was intentional, but starting off with those two clips from Interstellar kind of makes the following clips a bit of a let down...I mean, those 2 clips are just SOOOO intense...maybe should have left them for the big FINALE! Doesn't matter to me really since I stream them I don't really watch them in order, but I can tell you that the first 3 clips I watched were those first 2 and the MM:FR clip.

On a side note, I did a bit of level tweaking on my subs last night (thanks to the ease of trying out different scenes with your awesome demo disc!) and that Interstellar Launch clip just about made my eyeballs vibrate! I of course own the film, but haven't watched it since going from 2 to 4 subs.

Oh, and I wanted to mention that I thought that the clip lengths (of the ones I watched) were perfect. You don't want to get dumped right into the BIG BASS, so I liked how you included a bit of "padding" on the front end of the clips. Well done!

BTW, I'm an editor for a living.

Started with Interstellar(variable AR) and Ant-Man (2.00 AR) solely based on their abnormal Aspect Ratios. Tried to keep a little thought in their for fellow projector users.
The "explicit" scenes ended the disc out of consideration for those who demo for a more sensitive audience.

MM:FR, it seemed like everyone has it and besides the whole movie is basically a demo in and of itself. wanted to get some scenes that had been mentioned and graphed by our resident bass pusher(picture @Fatshaft in the corner of your room like "I got that 5hz bass hit right here for you he he.") I mean seriously, Poltergeist? And @tvuong mentioned Tremors 5. If not for this disc how many would have seen these scenes?

But hey that is what feedback is for, if people would rather I stay with the known popular scenes so be it. Just let me know. I am open to any and all feedback. Like I tell my wife when she asks if I tell her the truth about her cooking, "Damn right I tell the truth, because if it was nasty I wouldn't want you to make that crap again!" Thank goodness she hasn't made anything that was terrible lol

Oh no, don't get me wrong, you DUN GOOD!! And I totally understand that there is only so much room on a single disc...you gotta make your choices.

I actually watched Poltergeist and Tremors 5 , only because of the reports on here of the insane bass. It's much nicer to just have the relevant scenes so I don't have to sit through the entire "film" again.

I didn't realize that the scenes at the end were "explicit"...I'll have to check those out tonight!
