I'm one who has gotten this disc and have tested it today.

A couple of things I've noticed:
First of all I'd like to first point out that this deserves applause for his hard work and I for one appreciate it VERY much !

OK:
I tested every single file individually cause I use a HTPC with MMPC-HC as the player.
SO. I cannot see any menus !
I have watched and listened to every single file and have noticed a couple of things:
1. Audio is flawless - no problem whatsoever
2. Video is a little screwed up - Great quality but some scenes jitter and some scenes black bars change size (nothing major)
The most annoying of all is not all files have the audio synced correctly. (This is VERY easy to fix with MPC-HC)
But if you burn onto a disc then you'll find that some scenes audio is off and some by a good margin

The positive is that the majority of the scenes don't have much dialogue so you prob won't notice!

I'd like to give @Quickett a High-Five for his hard work doing all of this for us bassheads!
It is pretty dam cool to have so many bass heavy scenes all at a click away!

PS. I noticed no "Dragon Blade" scene It's ok cause most don't have the very low end to truly feel how amazing that scene is!

Kind regards,

Which scenes specifically jutter? Is it the whole scene or just parts? Yeah, Dragon Blade was one of those that just did not want to play nice along with San Andreas
Which scene was off by a good margin? There is a way for me to adjust the delay, just need to know which scenes. I still havent figured out how to get rid of the thumbnail wonkiness, but like you said if you use a htpc it doesnt matter. You just miss out on the Lucy Opening menu music

The way i have been doing my own testing is to burn it to a BDRW and play on my PS4. Most seemed fine, some will need a little tweeking. This is why i needed some fresh eyes on it, ive seen these scenes so many times now they just blend together.

,
Are you referring to the AR of different scenes, or the AR within a scene changing?

When I get a chance I'll recheck and give you more details
I know on one of the pixels demo the audio was off by around 800ms

I really don't know why that would happen or how it happened

@Fatshaft , I found the culprit in regards to the changing AR. It is the Interstellar Launch scene. It starts in 2.37 then near the end when they leave the atmosphere it switches to full 16x9.

I think there have been 4 recent movies that have done this to incorporate IMAX viewings. TDKR, Hunger Games:CF, Transformers AOE and Interstellar. If I have bungled this I apologize but just going from memory.

Quickett,

Please DO NOT apologize for anything!!!
You only deserve praise for having done this disc.

There is no doubt people will enjoy this disc immensely!

To me the most important is to have the audio sync fixed...the rest is good to go

Another update,
After some suggestions from Fatshaft and other users, I have another disc currently burning at home. Teamviewer has been an invaluable tool.

1. The scene list has slightly changed from the original post. Had to drop San Andreas and Dragon Blade (sorry Fatshaft)
I finally remembered how to get the Jurassic World deleted scene, so that has been added. As it sits right now there are 34 scenes at a runtime of approx 2:40

2. Worked on the sync issues, it takes almost 3 hours for my BR to burn so it will be done when i get home. Then another round of testing. Once the sync issues are sorted out, will update the menus from placeholders to final naming status. Along with the proper spacing and punctuation that needs to be added.

3. For the most part, I have put the scenes in alphabetical order. Except, Interstellar and Ant-Man scenes. Everything else is either 2.37 or 2.39.

4. I have included 3 scenes that have expletives. Momentum, Everly and John Wick. The thumbnails for these scenes are a standard mature audience warning as opposed to the motion thumbnails for the remainder of the scenes. These 3 are also the last 3. If you prefer not to view these then that is your option. It is for this reason I did not enable the autoplay option. After each scene it returns to the menu. There really isnt a play all option in addition to the return to menu option. Wish there was. (I didnt count Ironmans use of the "S" word enough to be labeled explicit in the Ultron opening scene)

5. If you've made it this far, the most important part is that Im guessing first round of seeders will get the torrent this weekend. Depending on rate of the swarm, everybody might see the link sometime Sunday.

*DISCLAIMER: THIS IS COMING FROM AN OPTIMISTIC INDIVIDUAL, NOT A DEFINITIVE TIMELINE!
Im trying to do this as well as get a looong list of honeydo items completed while my wife is across the pond. It is a lot of work to get a house ready to sell, anyone who has done it can relate. Really looking forward to getting away from cold and snow.
In addition to the car detailing I do on the side. Have a couple of cars i will be working on, not includingincluding my wife's and my own. So to say my plate is full is an understatement.
But this will get done, we're clearing the final hurdle.(yes, i used to run track)

With absolutely no intent to take anything away from Quickett's great effort and project (2015 bass demo), this is just an FYI for those (including @Quickett ) who may be interested in other demo discs.

Forum member @pjvader has completed another "Reelwood Demo Disc" with quite a bit of Atmos content...torrent ready for download.

@gene4ht thanks for the heads up. Hopefully when i have an atmos setup i will get to take advantage of his disc. My current space is not conducive in the least.
This is why this community is awesome, you can never have too many demo discs to help you spend money on upgrades

Ha, got me thinking. A black hole demo disc. With dark scenes to test (show off) the black level of your display (or to see if you actually have black and not grey) i.e. space scenes like gravity, Interstellar, SWFA, The Martian etc... Hell, somebody has probably already done one.

Quick update, @gene4ht verified that except for Pixels the other Atmos clips are in fact Atmos and play correctly. I wasnt sure, since i dont have Atmos yet. So i want to thank him for taking one for the team and help in the testing. For those unaware, it is a 40gb download and almost 3 hour runtime. So I have to give a big Thank You to the other testers as well @LastButNotLeast @Fatshaft @superleo .

Will be making a couple small corrections this afternoon and sending final link to a couple people tonight.

A couple PMs have been sent out. Downloading has begun by some. Figuring by the afternoon there should be enough seeders to go wide with the torrent. I will update the scene list as well, just not right now. My eyes are barely staying open.
Have a great night.

Current status, 2 have completed. 1 person is at 84 % and a couple others are down around the 20-30% range. I'm not sure how many are seeing besides myself as i cannot view those stats from my end.
Once a couple more people complete the download, the link will go up.

I can download at 180Mb/s and upload at 15Mb/s. No bandwidth use monthly caps.

I'll seed for a while after mine completes if it hasn't already completed. I kicked off the process last night at about 11:30AM. It said it would only take 5 hours to download, but I didn't check it this morning to see how far along it was.

I have 120mb/s download capability but have experienced speeds vary from 45kb/s to 3mb/s and averaging 1-2mb/s most of the time resulting in 9-10 hrs to download this 42mb disc.

I'm currently seeding and will be for the remainder of the week. A big thank you to Quickett once again! Good luck and enjoy to all!
