Well, we are talking about recording our theater setups, it most likely will be inside. Of course people
Could spend thousands either way. But there is no reason too if your not making money from it.

Great post Tony! Posts can be misunderstood quickly without the context we would normally have in a face to face conversation.

But you can get 90% of the quality for 10% of the cost. Then you pay the other 90% of the cost for that last 10% of the quality.

I watch alot of video youtubers...honestly the reviews I watch arent taken seriously if the mic they use sounds like junk to me. some of my favorite youtubers use neumann mics...now thats their business and they do get paid...but also as a customer I like the sound of some mics better than others. now if not making money off the mics...just get whatever works...

Im wondering what YouTube compression does to the quality of the audio. Even if its pristine going into the encoding process.....

I hear ya. I just got done doing a ton of research on mics for indoor interview stuff. Ended up getting a rode nt5. Not the best, but the best value I felt. What I wanted was an arts technica 4053b, but they are 600 bucks.

I just finished watching The Predator (2018). I turned it up 3dB higher than my normal MV of -8dB.

The story line is rather retarded. The surround effect and especially the bass is much more satisfying than Mission Impossible: Fall out.
jamiebosco and Pradeep2 like this.

Speakers: L/C/R: JTR Noesis 212HT. Surrounds: Jamo C103, KEF Q100, Polk Audio RTiA3.
Subwoofer: JTR Captivator 4000ULF.
AVR: Denon AVR-X4400H. TV: Samsung UN75NU8000FXZA.

FS: Jamo C103, KEF Q100 and Polk RTiA3
